What is PartsOS Forecast?

PartsOS Forecast is an AI-driven demand forecasting solution: it automatically generates order forecasts from consumption history and master data, prioritizes them by how much review they actually need, and passes the approved numbers to the existing ERP system as demand.

The principle in one sentence: the customer uploads two files; PartsOS Forecast forecasts every part they buy, sorts the forecasts so a planner only reviews the ones where their judgment matters, and hands the approved numbers to the ERP as demand.

How does it work in practice?

DRAG

1

1. Upload data

One master-data file and one demand-history file are enough; only part number, sale date, and quantity are required.

2

2. Generate the forecast

For each part, multiple forecasting methods compete against each other; the one with the lowest historical error wins.

3

3. Prioritize

Every forecast is automatically sorted into one of four lanes, from "needs review" to "can wait."

4

4. Decide

A planner works through the prioritized list, individually or in bulk, and can manually adjust any number if needed.

5

5. Export to the ERP

Approved numbers go to SAP, ProAlpha, ABAS, and others as pure demand; every existing ERP rule (safety stock, minimum order quantity, lead time) stays fully in effect.

Who is this for?

PartsOS Forecast is built for companies with long-lived machinery and equipment whose spare-parts business still runs on Excel, incompletely configured SAP standard functions, or the experience of individual employees.

FAQ

  • What is PartsOS Forecast?

An AI-driven demand forecasting system that automatically generates order forecasts from consumption history and master data, prioritizes them by review need, and passes approved numbers to the ERP as demand.

  • Does PartsOS Forecast replace my existing ERP?

No. PartsOS Forecast delivers demand, not the ordering decision. The ERP continues to apply all of its own rules, including safety stock, minimum order quantity, and lead time.

  • How long does implementation take?

PartsOS Forecast goes live within 24 hours, including ERP integration, with no IT project required.

  • What data do I need to get started?

Two files: master data and demand history. Only part number, sale date, and quantity are required — everything else is optional.

  • Does every part need manual review?

No. The system automatically sorts every forecast by how much review it actually needs. Most of a typical cycle requires no individual review at all.
